Without the use of welds, fluid filled cavities or O-rings, AST pressure sensors are machined from a single piece of stainless steel. One of the most popular AST pressure sensors uses 316L stainless steel for applications including, but not limited to, hydrogen measurement, explosion-proof areas, as well as NSF61 compatible water pressure applications.
